Kulpreet Singh
Commissioned and Presented by Kiran Nadar Museum of Art
Patiala-based artist Kulpreet Singh reflects on the agricultural and farming practices of Punjab, creating works that are rooted in the ecological aftermath of the Green Revolution. His installation inquires into the animal, fungal, and plant species that are plummeting towards their extinction and invites visitors to add to this growing list. Extinction Archive features over 900 instances of “animal, fungal, and plant species” across the world drawn from the “IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.”
