Modern Art Gallery

Modern Art Gallery was founded in 2011 in a heritage building adjoining the Kashmere Gate Monument, and in 2018, launched its second gallery in the diplomatic enclaves of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Since its inception, MAG has worked towards featuring diverse artists, particularly emerging artists from India. The gallery houses works of some Indian masters such as Lalu Prasad Shaw, Jogen Chowdhury and MH Hussain, and has had a long track record with senior artists such as Thota Vaikuntham, Subrata Gangopadhya, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Shyamal Mukherjee, Parish Maity, Vijender Sharma, Biplab Biswas, Laxma Gaud and Ramesh Gorjala. Furthermore, the gallery continuously aim to promote and support younger talents such as Somnath Singh, Ajay Bhowmik, Subir Hati and others through its platforms.
