MAG CONTEMPORARY
| Founded in 2021, MAG Contemporary is a vibrant and dynamic vertical of Modern Art Gallery dedicated to fostering and developing the profiles of young artists both across India and on a global scale. Our vision is to expand cultural horizons and ignite creative energy by building a collaborative institution that presents art that challenges, inspires, and breaks boundaries. At MAG Contemporary, we are deeply committed to supporting and promoting younger artists, providing them with the platform they need to showcase their work and talent. We pride ourselves on working with artists who possess a contemporary sense of architecture, embracing innovation and originality. In a significant milestone towards realising our vision, we have recently launched our first-ever grant program, designed to further nurture and support emerging talent in the art world. This initiative underscores our commitment to empowering artists and fostering creativity through a curated exhibition, awards and a mentorship programme with an esteemed jury panel including Jesal Thacker, Chetna and Sujith SN. The gallery currently represents 9 talented artists and is poised for growth, with plans to collaborate with over 40 artists from the contemporary space in the financial year 2025-26. | |
