Canvas Art Gallery presents A Line That Divides, a group show of 13 artists, curated by artist, art critic and educationist Quddus Mirza.
The works in the exhibition deal with the symbols of diverse divides – either referring to the Partition of 1947, or the narrative built around it; or other signs, manifestations, tools of segregation – while celebrating, reporting, critiquing or dismantling them.
The participating artists are Farida Batool, Wajeeha Batool, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Huma Gul, Fawad Jafri, Ayaz Jokhio, Mahbub Jokhio, Hooria Khan, Seema Nusrat, Anusha Ramchand, Mariyam Rehman, Nausheen Saeed and Mohammad Ali Talpur.
