Bringing together four significant works spanning nearly two decades, Bharti Kher at the V&A explores the intersections of mythology, womanhood, cultural identity and transformation. Featuring sculptures that blend human and animal forms, found objects and references to South Asian traditions, the display examines the boundaries between nature and culture, the physical and the metaphysical. At its centre is Gaia (2026), a monumental bronze sculpture unveiled at the V&A’s Exhibition Road Courtyard, reflecting on home, belonging, protection and resilience.
