Through this workshop, the artist will explore how a simple and easily available material—such as concrete—can be used to develop new possibilities in craft and art. Participants will learn how working with concrete can become a tool to express storytelling, personal ideas, and individual observations.
Kapil Jangid has been working with concrete for the past ten years, and through this workshop, he aims to share my experience and learning with those who are interested in art and craft. His objective is to pass on what he has learned to a wider audience and to create a shared space for learning and exchange.
The conceptual inspiration for this workshop comes from Italian tile-making techniques, which he is currently exploring in his artistic practice.
