Gallery Espace, in collaboration with Bihar Museum, presents Whisperings from Transcending Meadows, a solo exhibition by G. R. Iranna featuring recent paintings and sculptures. Drawing on ideas of spirituality, nature, history and the human condition, the exhibition reflects on impermanence, memory and the cycles of life. Inspired by the 12th-century Kannada poet Allama Prabhu, the title refers to the idea of bayalu—a vast emptiness that holds the possibility of hope and renewal. Drawing from Bihar’s cultural and Buddhist heritage, the works feature motifs such as the Buddha, Bodh Gaya and Nalanda to reflect on creation, destruction and the passage of time.
