Akara Modern presents Enduring Forms, a solo exhibition featuring the works of Piraji Sagara. This is the first exhibition of sculptural works by artist and educator Piraji Sagara (1931–2014) since his passing. Bringing together a selection of wooden and marble sculptures created between 1980s and 90s, the exhibition explores a lesser-known but a deeply personal facet of Sagara’s prolific practice, highlighting his reverence for materiality in modern Indian art.
