Presented as part of KaniFest 2026, Here, Is Elsewhere is an exhibition curated by Salman B Baba and Khursheed Ahmad for Yusmarg Collective Kashmir. Bringing together 24 artists, the exhibition explores how memory, displacement and lived experiences shape our understanding of place and belonging. Through diverse artistic practices, the works reflect on moments that have passed, memories that endure and possibilities that are yet to emerge, examining how the present is shaped by traces of other times and places.
