Kalakriti Art Gallery presents I Know What I Am Doing, a group exhibition curated by P. S. Jalaja, bringing together contemporary South Indian artistic practices across generations. Featuring 17 artists and the Transisters Collective, the exhibition examines intentionality, political consciousness and the role of artistic choices in shaping contemporary practice. The works engage with themes including power, labour, environment, caste, gender, memory, migration and place, while exploring how different materials and mediums shape these ideas. The exhibition brings together diverse artistic perspectives that reflect on the social and cultural realities of the present.
