Artisera in collaboration with Dhoomimal Gallery presents Intersections, Ashok Bhowmick’s first solo exhibition. Bringing together paintings, drawings and sculptures from across five decades of his practice, the exhibition highlights Bhowmick’s distinctive use of cross-hatching to create depth, light and form. His works explore human figures, workers, animals, birds and everyday experiences through an intricate language of line. Intersections offers an overview of the ideas, subjects and visual approaches that have shaped Bhowmick’s practice over the years.
