Shrine Empire presents group exhibitions by Kanchana Gupta, Ratna Gupta and Ritika Sharma, exploring labour, memory and the experiences that shape everyday life. Kanchana Gupta’s Skin in the Game examines the often-invisible labour behind urban construction and domestic craft through layered, textured surfaces. In Khidki Gala: Between Rhythm and Resistance, Ratna Gupta draws on memories of her ancestral home in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, using embroidery and mixed materials to reflect on belonging and resistance. Ritika Sharma’s After That Day turns to the aftermath of collective and personal upheaval, capturing quiet gestures of care, solidarity and repair that continue beyond moments of crisis.
