Rajiv Menon Contemporary presents Like Share Subscribe , a group show that explores art in the era of influencer culture, highlighting exciting new directions in painting from pop to portraiture. The first section of the exhibition explores figurative painting practices that push forward the depiction of people in this current visual landscape and features works by artists Ahsan Javaid, Ahsan Memon, Komail Aijazuddin, Shivy Galtere, Tarini Sethi. Featuring artists like Maria Qamar, Navinder Nangla, Preetika Rajgariah, Viraj Khanna, the second section examines materiality in an era of digital culture, looking at textile, street art, and mixed media practices that celebrate permanence and physicality in a climate of ephemera.
