1X1 Art Gallery presents Line as Witness, an exhibition by Indian contemporary artist Yusuf, exploring the line as a central element of artistic expression. Drawing on over four decades of practice, Yusuf uses repetition, rhythm and space across painting, drawing, thread and sculpture to create intricate abstract compositions. Working with restrained colours and carefully placed lines, his works explore movement, stillness, presence and absence. The exhibition invites viewers to slow down and observe how a simple line can express time, structure and the subtle variations of the human hand.
