LATITUDE 28 presents Long Short Stories, a solo exhibition by Waswo X. Waswo, bringing together works shaped by his long-standing engagement with photography and traditional Indian miniature painting. The exhibition follows a fictional story of a Dandy who travels to an Ancient Land and forms an intimate friendship with a Prince, leading to encounters with desire, rivalry, exile and memory. Through this narrative, Waswo explores the relationship between history and memory, and the stories that remain untold or disappear from official records. The exhibition reflects on how personal experiences can be transformed into stories, legends and fragments of memory.
