University, Vadodara, Mycelial Legacies brings together paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, and videos by 30 women artists from different generations. Curated by Deeksha Nath, an alumna of the faculty, the exhibition aims to witness and kindle research on the fluid and interconnected practices of women artists to an institution largely discussed in reference to the male stalwarts that moulded it. Offering a systemic rethinking of institutional histories through a gendered lens, the exhibition is attentive to sites and forms developed by women artists that are inclusive, responsive and collective in their impulse.
