Kalakaar Art Salon presents Performing Belief, a group exhibition curated by Rahul Kumar, bringing together works by twenty-two modern, folk, tribal, and contemporary artists. Featuring artists including S. H. Raza, F. N. Souza, M. F. Husain, Jamini Roy, Bhuri Bai, Jivya Soma Mashe, Manu Parekh, Madhvi Parekh, Thota Vaikuntam, and others, the exhibition explores ritual beyond religious symbolism, as a living cultural practice shaped by memory, labour, devotion, and transformation, while examining identity, belonging, and continuity across generations.
