This exhibition by Gallery Veda, Chennai celebrates the diverse representations of women’s power and creativity as embodied in different media of expression. Featuring women artists from across the country, it highlights the importance of acknowledging and celebrating women’s contributions to the art world and recognizing the unique strengths and perspectives they bring. Women have a long and rich history in the arts, with women artists creating stunning works of art that have stood the test of time; despite facing significant barriers and prejudices!
The featured artists include, Akanksha Dhanraj Patil, Bhartti Verma, Debosmita Samanta, Ekta Singha, Priyanka Aelay, Rumki Bhaumik, Sonali Laha, Sri Harsha Kancharla, Sriniya Chowdhury, Veenita Chendvankar and Vijaya Chauhan.
