Shrine Empire presents Sounds from the Attic, a solo exhibition by Divya Singh. Her paintings are populated by spectral figures and otherworldly creatures, creating a haunting, dreamlike atmosphere. Singh explores how the past continues to shape the present and influence the future. Through allegory, she reflects on a future disrupted by the rise of fascist and authoritarian forces, while playing with ideas of space, time and authorship.
