Gallery Ragini presents The Grammar of the Self, a major retrospective of acclaimed artist and printmaker Kanchan Chander, curated by Kishore Singh. Spanning over five decades, the exhibition brings together drawings, prints and mixed-media works, tracing the evolution of Chander’s practice through her enduring engagement with observation, memory, identity and the human experience. From early portraits and self-portraits to celebrated prints and recent abstractions, the exhibition highlights the recurring motifs and visual continuities that define her distinctive artistic language.
The show opens on 12 September 2026 at LTC Gallery, Bikaner House, and runs through 18 September, before continuing at Gallery Ragini, New Delhi, from 21 September to 31 October 2026.
