Vida Heydari Contemporary presents Where the Body Begins, a three-part exhibition featuring 46 Pune-born and Pune-based artists. Unfolding through Memory, Nature, and Body, the exhibition explores how the body is shaped by memory, place, environment, labour, and lived experience.
Where the Body Begins: Memory (8 August – 12 September) explores how memory is carried through family, language, architecture, ritual, and the everyday life of a city.
Where the Body Begins: Nature (19 September – 17 October) considers what it means to exist within nature rather than observe it from a distance.
Where the Body Begins: Body (24 October – 21 November) reflects on how the body is shaped by time, touch, environment, labour, material, and social structures.
