Palette Art Gallery presents In Her Native Tongue, a group exhibition featuring works by six Indigenous women artists—Rita Shyam, Jyoti Uikey, Roshini Shyam, Anita Vyam, Japani Shyam and Santoshi Shyam. Rooted in Indigenous traditions, the exhibition explores memory, mythology, nature, community and everyday life through distinct contemporary visual languages. Drawing on inherited artistic practices, the artists reimagine traditional forms through vibrant colours, intricate patterns and depictions of birds, animals, plants and landscapes, highlighting the evolving nature of Indigenous art.
