Gallery Vayu presents Ngok Dolu (My Village), a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Jenjum Gadi. Rooted in Gadi’s childhood in a self-sustaining village in Arunachal Pradesh, the exhibition reflects on landscapes shaped by bamboo and thatch homes, fields, forests, rivers and orchards. Drawing from memories of architecture, agriculture, craft, weather and everyday village life, Ngok Dolu considers what stays with us as familiar landscapes change. Working primarily in brass, Gadi transforms remembered forms and everyday objects into sculptures that move between memory, observation and imagination. Recurring cloud forms become quiet witnesses to the passage of time, inviting reflection on place, change and what endures.
