Ganged Art Gallery presents Temporal Materialities, a group exhibition curated by Rashmee Pal Chouteau, bringing together practices that explore material and process as ways of experiencing time. Across the works, surfaces are layered, marked, scraped, constructed, dismantled and rebuilt, with repeated gestures allowing the act of making itself to become a measure of duration. Rather than fixed objects, the works unfold as surfaces where moments emerge, recede and return. Temporal Materialities invites us to consider whether matter can retain traces of the time that has passed through it, and how the act of making might give that passage a visible form.
